THE FOREST SHEEP

There was once a rogue sheep

who lived in the forest

all by himself,

fields of green

and pastures full of other sheep

were not for him.

He loved the solitude of the forest

the darkness of the canopy

and the plants on

the forest floor,

which he could enjoy by himself

all the time.

Some sheep are born to follow

and some are born to lead,

and some just want

to find their own corner

of the world

and be left to live in peace.
