AWAY WITH THE BIRDS.

She’s away with the birds,

and who am I to say

if she’s perfectly normal,

or utterly insane.

She found a new religion,

does yoga every day,

she only eats organic

as long as it’s Fairtrade.

She sweetly smiles Namaste

to everyone she meets

she doesn’t drink and doesn’t smoke

she keeps her temple neat.

She talks of a new name,

to something much more Zen,

I know I won’t remember

which of them to call her then.

But if it keeps her happy

and in a better place,

then who am I to judge the life,

she lives with peace and grace.
