'HUP, HORSE'
I met a boy on a horse, once,
and the horse was eating grass.
'Hup, horse', he said, to it,
but the horse passed no remarks.
The boy pulled and wooled its mane,
while the horse munched sedately.
He didn't know how to make it go,
and besides, the horse was lazy.
The horse, of course, had a mind
of its own, and didn't want to go,
so he just stood there without a care,
and let the poor boy moan.
Revenge came at supper-time
when the horse wanted hay,
the boy said, 'I don't think so',
and took it all away.
