I SEE YOUR LIGHT

I see your light,

when no one else does,

I see the good

you are inside.

I see the intention,

that gets lost in construction,

leaving you only frustration

and fear.

I see your future,

where you shine like a sun,

and I wish you could

see it too.

Until then,

I will hold up the mirror,

in the hope that it shines

back at you,

and lights up the path

that leads to your future,

where all these predictions

come true.
