MY CAT DOESN'T SPEAK

I love my cat.

He doesn't need,

he doesn't plead,

he doesn't break my heart,

he doesn't look for money,

or beg when we're apart.

He doesn't pine

for conversation,

he goes out when he's told,

he comes back when he's hungry,

or if he gets too cold.

I always know just where

I stand, there is no

second-guessing,

my cat will tell me what he wants,

with him, there is no messing.

He's a simple cat.

Eat and sleep, and that is that.

No stress, no complication,

no rows, no obligation.

Because of that, I love my cat.
