nestled

in the trees

backed up

against

the hillside

the hill hugged

by the mountains

and the mountains

caressed

by the sky.

They, I,

all of us

connected

and all of us

touching

and touched by

all that

surrounds us

all the way

to the sky

and under the eye

of the sun.

To build

my house

brick won't exist

without rock

roof won't protect

without wood

grass won't grow

without sun

I can't exist

without sun

without air

without grass

and woods and hills.

So I build

and I nestle

and I try to

protect

the cradle

in which

I am settled

the nature

by which I'm

surrounded

the landscape

by which

I am hugged.
